And continues: “I am all for putting new wine in old bottles, especially if the pressure of the new wine makes the bottles explode.” The practices of demythologisation in present-day literature and theatre will be addressed, and personal experiences of putting new wine in old bottles related by Marina Warner, mythographer and author of monographs Joan of Arc: The Image of Female Heroism and Alone of All Her Sex: The Myth and Cult of the Virgin Mary, and director Tomi Janežič, whose no title yet, a theatre performance produced by the Slovenian Mladinsko Theatre, explores the myth of Don Juan. The talk will be hosted by Aldo Milohnić.
