Arriving in good time

Astrid- / Astrid Ana Kljun is a Slovenian alter pop artist, singer, harpist, dancer, as well as music video director and producer. She came onto the Slovenian music scene in 2019 when she released her debut single Coconut, followed by Sing to Me and Črno pero, all three written in collaboration with Jani Hace and Martin Štibernik.
Since 2020 he has been collaborating with producer, multi-instrumentalist and regular member of the band MRFY, Tomaž Zupančič, with whom she has recently released the singles Stanovanje, DEVOJKE, Kostarika and Hey, Julie, and the Triptich EP featuring the tracks Seme, Berlin and Kostarika. The last named ranked among the top five of the 326 compositions competing for the Milan Mladenović Award.
In March 2023, Astrid- debuted at the MENT festival with her backup band and was featured in the Europavox top ten artists list in May. In September, the band played at the Waves Festival in Vienna, as part of a delegation of three Slovenian music groups.
Astrid Ana Kljun obtained a Master's degree in opera singing from the Ljubljana Academy of Music in 2019 under Prof. Pija Brodnik, and studied harp at the Academy under Prof. Mojca Zlobko Vajgl.
The quartet will play their original material, songs old and new, including tracks on the Triptich EP and the upcoming album 18:48, promising an atmospheric, richly textured and exciting experience.
