Religions in Digital Culture and the Ethical Challenges of Digitality

The series of lectures focuses on the interaction between digitality, artificial intelligence and religion; more specifically on the impact of digital culture on religions and changes in people.

Digital technologies can play a detrimental or beneficial role. Digital technology works differently to old technologies because of the ways in which it influences our thoughts, memories and habits, accelerating the normal processes and principles of human functioning.

Within the framework of the national research programme Constructive Theology in the Age of Digital Culture and the Anthropocene, ZRS Koper (Institute for Philosophical and Religious Studies) and the Association for Comparative Religious Studies.
